WDC Announces Leadership Transitions
SOUTH LYON, MI | January 28, 2026 — Women Chiropractors® (WDC), a non-profit organization dedicated to creating a global community that supports, empowers, and connects women in chiropractic, is announcing leadership changes to its Board of Directors with heartfelt gratitude for outgoing members and enthusiastic welcome to new board members.
As WDC continues to grow its reach and deepen its impact, these board transitions reflect both a celebration of faithful service and a bold step into the next chapter of mission-driven leadership.
Honoring Our Outgoing Board Members
We extend our deepest thanks to the following leaders whose time on the WDC Board has shaped our organization, strengthened our community, and inspired countless women in chiropractic:

Alexis Lignos
Alexis brought her expertise as a certified digital marketing professional and storyteller to WDC, helping elevate our voice, increase our visibility, and expand how we connect with members and the public. As past Marketing Director for the Foundation for Chiropractic Progress, she brought strategic communications insight and a heart for community building that strengthened WDC’s message and engagement throughout her tenure.

Dr. Michelle Turk
Michelle shared more than 20 years of experience as a chiropractic coach, mentor, and practice leader. Her commitment to helping women define success on their own terms and navigate both professional and personal demands inspired and empowered members across all practice styles. She served on WDC’s membership committee and consistently advocated for greater representation by encouraging other boards and events to include women DCs alongside their male speakers. Her advocacy for women’s voices in the profession leaves a legacy of encouragement and empowerment.

Dr. Donna Craft
Dr. Craft’s legacy in chiropractic reaches far beyond her clinical work—she has been a trailblazer in leadership and service. As the first woman elected President of the NBCE, a founder of WDC itself, and a founding member of other key chiropractic councils, Donna has helped shape the direction of the profession itself. During her time on the WDC Board – serving as Sponsor Chair and past Secretary – she brought wisdom, steadiness, generosity, and a pioneering spirit that elevated our leadership and strengthened the organization in meaningful ways and created lasting impact.

Dr. Nancy Cooper
Nancy’s passion for community and mentorship has been a guiding force on the WDC Board. As a founding board member and organization’s Treasurer, she brought authenticity, compassion, and a deep commitment to ensuring women chiropractors feel supported and connected. She brought vast experience in the chiropractic field, and offered wisdom and encouragement drawn from her own story to regularly walk alongside our members to help others feel seen, supported, and ready to step into their roles with confidence.
To these four women, WDC says thank you — for your time, your talent, your service, and your dedication to advancing women chiropractors everywhere. Your leadership has shaped the foundation of our community, and we honor your legacy with gratitude.
Welcoming Our New Board Members
As these leaders transition off the board, we are thrilled to welcome four remarkable women whose diverse experiences, strategic insights, and deep commitment to WDC’s mission will strengthen our organization in new ways.

Polly Loneman
Polly is a senior marketing executive and Vice President of Marketing at NCMIC, where she leads brand strategy, growth initiatives, and integrated marketing teams. She brings a strategic, data-informed perspective, deep understanding of organizational leadership, and a passion for mission-driven service. Polly’s experience with complex communications strategies and governance will support WDC’s growth in visibility, mission alignment, and community engagement. Further, leadership at NCMIC actively encourages board service in the community, and Polly’s executive team fully supports her work with WDC, reflecting her strong commitment to servant leadership.

Dr. Jo Davison
Jo is an internationally recognized chiropractor, speaker, and business mentor, founder of Blue Cow Global, and author of multiple books on leadership, communication, and practice growth. With extensive nonprofit governance experience — including serving as Vice President of the United Chiropractic Association (UCA) — Jo brings a powerful voice for education, mentorship, and community transformation. Her international perspective and visionary leadership will elevate WDC’s educational programming and global connections.

Dr. Amanda Blonigen
Amanda brings deep clinical expertise in pediatrics and family practice, combined with strong nonprofit and community leadership. She co-founded Well Adjusted Students, Inc., serves in leadership roles with Optimist International and Mentor Chippewa, and is a recognized CE speaker across the profession. Her passion for student engagement, youth leadership, and mentorship will support WDC’s commitment to empowering women at every career stage.

Dr. Roxanne Wagner
Roxanne is a seasoned clinician, educator, and community builder, owning a thriving practice and serving as a Professor of Anatomy & Physiology. She has spent years cultivating a large professional network of women chiropractors in Colorado focused on collaboration, connection, and shared growth. Roxanne’s strengths in education, community engagement, and professional development will enhance WDC’s membership experience and strengthen our community support initiatives.
Looking Ahead
We are deeply grateful for the service of our outgoing board members and exhilarated to welcome the strengths and vision of our new board members. Together, we continue to build a global community where women chiropractors are supported, connected, and empowered to lead with confidence and purpose.
Thank you to every woman who contributes to this movement — your voice matters, your leadership counts, and we can’t wait to see what we build next.
