December 31, 2022
It is with regrets and that Women Chiropractors makes this announcement, as well as with immense gratitude for the service to our organization. One of our founding Board members and Past-President, Dr. Rosemary Batanjski, has stepped down from her Board position, concluding her term in December of 2022. Dr. Rosemary poured her heart and soul into this organization from its founding moments — helping, along with several others, to file for 501(c)3, construct our Bylaws, and create the foundation of our organization. Since then, she has put in countless hours directing and growing this organization, as well as supporting and advocating for women in our profession. Her passion for this organization and her loving, servant heart will be missed on our Board. She says, of her time with us, “This Women Chiropractors organization was a labor of love and continues to be 6 years later. I will continue to serve off the board as a[n education] committee member and volunteer, because I believe in the mission and the work that we do.”
Thank you, Dr. Rosemary, for your years of service and all the work you put into this organization along the way!
“My passion is teaching others about growing personally & professionally. I enjoy motivating others to overcome their struggles and persevere when things get tough. In 2016, I met some extraordinary women around the country & we collectively agreed that we needed to do something more for women in chiropractic. Our non-profit organization WOMEN CHIROPRACTORS was founded in 2017 as a 501(c)3. I served as the founding president of Women Chiropractors until 2021 and I am extremely grateful to have been surrounded daily by incredible, brilliant, successful, strong, confident, and compassionate women who have made a significant impact in our profession. I will continue to remain active in the organization Education Committee Chair and look forward to continuing to grow our organization. Helping found and grow this organization over the last five years has been one of the most rewarding times of my career. I hope that the foundation we created in 2017 will be a legacy for women in chiropractic for decades.”
