Job Summary
Women Chiropractors is a nonprofit organization dedicated to providing a worldwide community that supports, empowers, and connects women who are chiropractors. Through a highly connected and interactive Facebook group, WDC Connects events, biannual conventions, a re-entry program, CE courses, and much more, Women Chiropractors® is leading the way for women to thrive in the field of chiropractic. You will contribute directly to these efforts by working alongside our Executive Director, and at times our Board of Directors, to facilitate communication and execute planning. We are looking for an individual who takes initiative to expedite the details, thus enabling our company’s leaders to contribute their best performance to achieve organizational directives. As a valued assistant, you will be the foundation for strong performance, efficient processes, and successful outcomes.
Job Responsibilities:
Under the direction of the Executive Director,
- Gather materials, documents, and business plans to have them readily available for board meetings.
- Act as a liaison between Executive Director and board members and committee leaders to ensure important information is relayed, escalated issues are flagged and resolved, and mediocre matters are solved by appropriate parties.
- Keep an organized schedule of events, meetings, travel itineraries, conference calls, and other communications.
- Participate in standard advisory duties such as sending emails and other electronic correspondences, printing, scheduling, etc.
- Write, draft, and edit important data such as documents, reports, proof letters, and memos.
- Maintain communication with members and membership information stored in the appropriate databases.
- Manage emails and draft or reply as directed.
- Organize details for events such as hotel or venue information, meal or Food and Beverage orders, gathering quote or invoices, etc.
- Keep company files organized in Google Drive.
- Document and finalize timecards on a regular basis and have them sent to the Finance department on time.
- Always maintain a professional and candid demeanor to ensure you are behaving in a manner that is in alignment with executive image and company reputation and brand.
Required Job Skills & Qualifications:
Minimum of Associates Degree or 2 years proven experience as an administrative assistant or related position. Nonprofit or chiropractic business experience desired.
- Schedule Flexibility – The position will be primarily remote but may require some in-person and community responsibilities.

- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office, Zoom platforms, Asana organizational platform, Slack. Skills or knowledge in Adobe suite and WordPress are an advantage, but not required.
