These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern your membership with Women Chiropractors® (“WDC,” “we,” “our,” or “us”). By enrolling in any membership tier, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms.
1. Mission & Eligibility
Women Chiropractors® is a mission-driven nonprofit organization dedicated to supporting, empowering, educating, and advancing women chiropractors. To maintain the integrity, safety, and purpose of our community:
Membership is limited exclusively to individuals who:
- Self-identify as women, and
- Are licensed chiropractors, chiropractic students, or women preparing to re-enter chiropractic practice.
By enrolling, you affirm that you meet these eligibility requirements.
WDC reserves the right to request clarification if eligibility is uncertain.
2. Misrepresentation & Verification
If WDC determines that a membership has been purchased by an individual who does not meet the eligibility requirements:
- WDC may cancel the membership,
- Revoke access to member benefits and private spaces, and
- Issue a refund of the most recent membership payment.
This policy ensures the safety, privacy, and mission alignment of our community.
3. Membership Billing & Renewals
Memberships renew automatically on a monthly or annual basis (depending on the plan selected) unless canceled by the member.
By purchasing a membership, you authorize WDC or our payment processor to charge your selected payment method for recurring dues.
You may update your payment method or cancel your membership at any time through your account portal.
4. Refund Policy
Membership dues are generally non-refundable, except in the following circumstances:
- When WDC determines the individual does not meet eligibility requirements
- When a duplicate or accidental charge occurs
- When otherwise required under applicable law
Refunds, when approved, will be returned to the original payment method.
5. Access to Private Groups & Programs
Membership may include access to private community spaces such as Facebook groups, webinars, events, CE programs, or online platforms. Access to these spaces is reserved solely for eligible women members.
If eligibility is not met or is revoked, WDC may remove the individual from these spaces.
Members are responsible for following the rules of each community or platform.
6. Code of Conduct
WDC members agree to:
- Engage respectfully and professionally
- Maintain confidentiality within private member spaces
- Support the mission, values, and integrity of WDC
Harassment, discrimination, or behavior contrary to the safety and wellbeing of the community may result in termination of membership without refund.
7. Use of Member Information
By joining, you acknowledge that WDC may use your contact information to send:
- Membership updates
- Educational resources
- Event notifications
- Organizational news
- Renewal reminders
WDC will never sell or misuse your information and complies with applicable privacy laws.
8. Changes to Membership Terms
WDC may update these Terms at any time to reflect organizational, legal, or operational changes. Updated Terms will be posted on our website with the effective date noted.
Continued membership after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
9. Limitation of Liability
WDC provides resources, networking opportunities, and community spaces for educational and professional support. WDC is not liable for:
- Actions or statements of members
- Outcomes of advice or information shared among members
- Technical issues with third-party platforms
- Losses incurred through participation in events or groups
To the fullest extent permitted by law, WDC’s liability shall not exceed the amount of the most recent membership payment.
10. Cancellation
Members may cancel at any time through their account portal. Upon cancellation:
- Access to membership benefits ends at the conclusion of the paid billing cycle.
- No prorated refunds are issued unless required under Section 4.
WDC may cancel memberships that violate eligibility or conduct policies.
11. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of the State of Nevada and Michigan, without regard to conflict-of-law provisions.
